About ECU Tuning Limited

ECU Tuning Limited was founded on a simple principle: diesel tuning should be done properly, by someone who understands the mechanical side as well as the software.

Too many vehicles are tuned with generic files by operators who don't have the diagnostic knowledge to identify existing problems first. The result is unreliable performance, or worse — engine damage.

Our approach is different. Every vehicle gets a proper assessment before any tuning work begins. We check for faults, assess engine condition, and only proceed when we're confident the vehicle is ready. Then we build a calibration specific to that vehicle and verify the results on the dyno.

We work on diesel cars, 4WDs, utes, vans, trucks, and heavy machinery across New Zealand. If it runs on diesel, we can tune it.
